John Marino

Elder

John met and accepted the Lord as his personal Savior as a young Marine on June 4th 1977, after the tragic death a few months earlier of his only Brother Michael in a car accident at 19 years old. John graduated Calvary Bible College where he met his beloved wife Paige, being married 40 years this June/2025. They raised together 3 grown children of which all graduated from Bible College – Evan - Liberty University, Jacob - Lancaster Bible College and Seminary, and Amber - also Lancaster Bible College. They are also proud grandparents of Rocco and Everly (twins) through their older son Evan and his beloved wife Mandy. Therefore, the ministry goes on! It was during street witnessing that God revealed to him that He would use his church to reach the lost masses for Himself; of which through the years in the local assembly John has served in various capacities - Choir, Praise and Worship team, the Drama team, Sunday school teacher and as a deacon, and chairman of the deacon board. His key passion has been to be a witness and testimony in the workplace, of which he has committed to during his 39 years in the Army and Marines, and as an EMS Helicopter pilot with Life Flight of Maine and currently with Penn Star of Philadelphia. To Prosper in his service for the Lord Jesus, he remains focused on gratitude, appreciation, love and worship of Jesus. John’s desire is to help others to do the same and to make Christ known which continues to be the purpose and focus of his Life!

Kathy Sumner

Women's Ministry Director

I grew up in upstate New York, in beautiful apple country along the shore of Lake Ontario. After serving in the United States Air Force, I encountered the life-changing love of Jesus just before Ray and I were married — a moment that transformed my heart and set our path on a foundation of faith. We raised our family and eventually moved to Virginia, where we planted a church. That experience opened the door for me to lead and teach Bible studies, serve as a police chaplain, and travel to New Orleans to minister after Hurricane Katrina. Our path continued in Oklahoma, where I joined the staff of a church in Oklahoma City and had the privilege of being part of the inaugural class of their Bible school. Eventually, we moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to family, where I pursued a college education in Human Resources — fulfilling a lifelong dream. Through all of these milestones, one thing has remained constant: my heart’s desire to serve the Lord through the gifts of administration and teaching, while encouraging women in their relationship with Jesus and reminding them how deeply they are loved by our Savior.
