Hello from Alaska!

Spring seems to be coming early this year and it is exciting to see the beginnings of green grass.

I am flying out to Bethel this week to do some discovery for Arctic Barnabas and to help some missionaries. I would covet your prayers.

Thank you for your interest and support of this ministry.

Hello from Alaska!

We just wanted to send a quick update on the recent earthquake.  We are fine, praise the Lord!
Yesterday morning around 8:30 Alaska time, we experienced a 7.0 earthquake centered a few miles from Anchorage.  There is widespread damage from Palmer/Wasilla to the Kenai peninsula.  There are sink holes, collapsed road and slides.  The road to Anchorage is closed for now as are several businesses and schools in the Anchorage area.  Those we know and minister with/to are ok for which we are extremely grateful.
Our home sustained no damage and nothing broken although several things fell.  Others in the area were hit much harder with much cleanup under way.  The Arctic Barnabas staff is safe and looking to see how we can aid those in need.
THANK YOU for your prayers and concerns.  Please continue to pray, as we have experienced many aftershocks.  These times show us how little control we actually have and that resting in the Father’s hand is out best option.  Knowing God is in control put a better perspective on the world around us.
May we seek Him more diligently now and in the future.
